Susannah Crump runs an 8 – week course in mindfulness. The course is held in The Bodywork Centre in Hexham.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is an effective or promising treatment for :
• reducing stress and anxiety that accompanies daily life and chronic illness
• mild to moderate depression and anxiety in clinical populations
• patients with a wide range of conditions which are associated with stress
Patients can be assured that the MBSR course is very supportive, and it encourages kindness to ourselves as ordinary human beings. No prior knowledge is needed, and there are no demands to read or write very much.
