Urgent Appointments

Every day we will hold a few urgent appointment slots reserved for matters that cannot wait and urgently needs seeing to that day.

You should be aware that when requesting and appointment (or home visit) our reception staff are obliged to ask you for information regarding your medical condition to enable them to book or direct you to the most appropriate person or service.

If our GP’s are fully booked you may therefore be advised to contact NHS 111 or a Minor Walk in unit located nearby or if we feel it is an emergency we will advise you to call 999.

For less urgent, routine problems, it is essential that you make a general appointment.

This will enable you to see a doctor or nurse of your choice at a time most convenient to you subject to availability.

Please help us to help you and those that need it most  – do not abuse our urgent appointment system by using it to ask for sick notes or medication reviews or anything else that is a non urgent request!
