It is important for us to know that the services we provide are appropriate, acceptable and accessible.
We have a virtual Patient Participation Group, the function of which is to obtain opinion from a broad spectrum of our patients (age, gender, ethnicity etc) via emailed surveys to members of the Group.
The Group shares responsibly with the practice for prioritising issues such as opening times or the quality of care or services provided by the Practice and then are asked to complete brief online surveys via our Practice website. Our Patient Participation Group is given the opportunity to discuss and comment on the survey findings, agree with the Practice any reasonable changes in the provision and delivery of services and agree an action plan setting out priorities and proposals. This takes place on-line via emailed discussions.
The resultant Local Patient Participation Report is publicised on our Practice website together with updates on achievement.
